I am thrilled to introduce you to the V2 Melton Mini Swage, which is available now. The V2 block is packed with new and exciting features, including a traditional spoon swage, shallow cupping tool swage, tapered cone swages, riveting swages, 60-degree V swages, a larger 1.25-inch hardy hole, a rectangular 'axe-drifting' hole, and several other enhancements. Just like the V1 block, the V2 block is made from the same tough 6150 tool steel and maintains the same 5x5x2 dimensions, ensuring compatibility with any stand or holder you've made for your V1 block.

Disclaimer: These blocks are cast of 6150 alloy in a foundry in Communist China, I designed the block but they are cast in China, if this bothers you, feel free not to purchase one. If you’re looking for 100% American made swage blocks, see Holland Anvil, or Oaklawn Blacksmith, they’re both making great tools. I use several tools in my shop that were made in China, a power hammer, some drills, etc. I have no problem using tools made in other countries to make USA-made products. Just want to be upfront about where the blocks are made.
